Decoupled Speed and Flux Control of a Three-Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor under an Open-Circuit Fault Using a PR Current Controller

Presented in this article is a method for decoupling the speed and flux control of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) during an open-circuit fault (OCF) using current controller based on proportional resonant (PR) techniques. The suggested approach relatively simple to implement maintains good operation open circuit. PMSM performance under pre-fault, OCF, post-fault conditions were investigated Matlab/Simulink experimental setup dSPACE DS1104. conducted investigations provide strong evidence supporting efficacy resilience OCF conditions.
